Opoplan is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers, and will not collect any personal information about you on this website without your clear knowledge and permission.

Opoplan will not collect personal identifying data about you when you visit the Website unless you choose to provide that data to us. The information Opoplan collects depends on what you do when visiting the Website.
We are data controllers of the data collected through the website and in the provision of the Services.

Customer Data

You may submit various types of information and data to us if you avail of our Services or are a subscriber, contributing architect or business partner (Customer Data). Customer Data may include, without limitation, personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, locations, details about your site (including photos), briefing information inputs and
design requirements, project name and budget, details of your local builder/ construction professional / subscriber (“LCP”) such as their name, address, contact detail billing information including payment details and credit card numbers. Such information may be inputted by you when using the briefing tool, enrolling for a trial, onboarding as a subscriber or setting up an account with us as an architect author to avail of the Services or may be collected by the Services using OPOPLAN tags, scripts and other code required for the effective use of the Website.

We will only use, disclose and otherwise process Customer Data for the provision of the Services in accordance with the Terms and Conditions accepted by you when buying the Services.

Opt Out

You can choose not to provide certain information but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our services.

For What Purpose Does Opoplan Process Or Use Your Personal Data?

We use this data for the purpose for which you provided it including the delivery of the Services that you have requested, processing payments and communicating on an on-going basis with you in relation to the Services requested by you. We may also from time to time communicate with you in relation to past orders or future promotional offers.

We may use the information provided by you to recommend products and services to you that may be of interest or personalise your relationship with our website and with the Services provided, to analyse trends, administer or optimize the Services and Website functionality, monitor usage or traffic patterns (including to track users’ movements around the Website or in
relation to the Services) and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. You will have the option to opt out of receiving any advertising or marketing material or amending your preferences at any time.

OPOPLAN products work to create customized design solutions for our direct (private individuals) and business customers. We process and store Customer Data to perform our custom design and provide you with the Services requested by you. Without this information, we wouldn’t be able to provide the Services requested by you.

In order to better customise the design solution and spread the benefits of OPOPLAN to new customers, we have a legitimate interest to collect relevant data and send messages based on this information. We consider your privacy and data protection rights when we pursue our legitimate interests and ensure that the way our Website and Services work does not t impact on those rights.

OPOPLAN from time to time use third party providers and we will need to provide personal information to third parties to perform services on our behalf such as Magento( or another similar E commerce platform we use/may), companies involved in online mapping or Building Information Modelling (BIM) or in processing payments. In some cases we may have a legal obligation to process your personal information however any such processing would be done strictly in terms of and in subject to Data  Protection legislation.

For any specific purpose that we wish to process your information for outside of the purpose for which you gave us the information and the other purposes set out herein, we would specifically ask for your consent. If you give your consent, you may withdraw it at any time and we would then stop using your data for that specific purpose. Opoplan also uses cookies to facilitate the use of our website. Opoplan is not responsible for the content or the privacy statements or practices of those other websites or any third party websites. For example, we may provide personal information to our service providers for direct emailing of our newsletters or notifications of our product/service offerings. Access

You have the right, subject to certain exemptions, to obtain a copy of any personal data that you supplied via this website and to correct any inaccuracies in that data. Opt-Outs

We may provide you with the opportunity to “opt-out” of having your personal information used for certain purposes when we ask for this information. If you decide to opt-out, we may not be able to provide certain features to you.

Communication Preferences

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional  communications, you may opt- out of receiving them by following the instructions included on such communications or on the Website. Please  note, however, that you may be unable to opt-out of certain service-related communications.

How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Information?

Opoplan will only keep personal information pertaining to you to enable us to carry out the services you require or as may be required by law or otherwise as communicated to you. We may retain your information as necessary to support the provision of the Services, comply with our legal obligations or resolve disputes.

For website visitors OPOPLAN will generally store this data for 9 months after your last visit save where you have availed of our Services, for sales and marketing leads OPOPLAN will store this data until the individual opts out or where they have not engaged with OPOPLAN in 24 months.

Opoplan retains your entries on the briefing tool so that you may retrieve your brief at a later date and continue to refine it towards generating a design. Because Opoplan, from time to time, upgrades our briefing tool, retrievals of briefs created under earlier versions is not always possible and users should record their own entries independently if the wish to ensure this information remins available to them.

Eu To Us Privacy Shield

We participate in the EU to US privacy shield framework regarding your data and in particular regarding the transfer of any of your data from the European Union to the United States.

From time to time we provide personal information to third parties to perform services on our behalf, for the most part such information will not be transferred out of the territory of which it has been obtained (if obtained in an EU country outside the EEA). Any data transferred from the EU to the US will be in compliance with the privacy shield obligations.
